What is going on in Princeton?

Honest public servants should be able to keep their jobs.

On the job training will be costly to the taxpayers!

What is going on in Princeton?  Rumor has it that several first-class public servants have been fired.

To the victor go the spoils, but it is not a humane act to push so many from their livelihoods.

Greed?

Questions / Tom Brady

Is Brady's punishment too severe?

Thomas Dewey Wells seems to think Tom more likely than not has some general knowledge of what was going on?

Hope they would not put a person in jail on such shallow evidence.

General Discussion / A Home for Kendell

Folks in Princeton are doing a magnificent and charitable act.  They are providing shelter for a homeless man preciously living around the vacant carwash on West Broadway.  See:   http://www.facebook.com/ahomeforkendell

This is in contrast with they way they are treating homeless in Indianapolis.  They are tearing down their tents and the like and arresting some of them.    http://www.indystar.com/article/20130825/NEWS/308250041/Police-make-arrests-city-workers-tear-down-homeless-camp-railroad-bridge

Would anyone want to help out by providing bus transportation from Indianapolis to Princeton for these folks?  A regular one-way adult ticket is $53.  Seniors are only $43.  If there is interest I will look into chartering a bus, possibly at lesser unit costs.

General Discussion / Vance Lloyd
« on: August 25, 2013, 04:53:05 PM »
A rumor has just been received here in Ohio that Vance Lloyd was arrested for DUI in Gibson County.

Can anyone confirm this?  It seems like a set-up to me!  There are some folks in the Sheriff's Department who do not want him to run for Sheriff.

Let's keep Vance in our prayers.  Is there anyway we can help him?

Sincerely,

Does anyone know the young lady whose texts with Anthony Weiner are now being discussed?

Years ago I knew a Leathers family in Princeton.  They were a fine family.

What is all this ruckus about a public official filling  a pool in Princeton?

There seems was nothing illegal done.

In the words of Ole Bill Shakespeare, "The lady doth protest too much, methinks."

General Discussion / Melons

After last year's recalls and health issues, are they going to let the farmers grow watermelons and cantaloupes this year?

I really miss Gibson, Posey, and Know County melons.

General Discussion / ObamaCare
« on: June 08, 2013, 08:24:08 PM »

ObamaCare will eventually force lower reimbursements and more efficiency in the health delivery system.  There may be some initial rough spots, but eventually may become as popular as the British system.  Remember when Ronald Regan criticized the UK medical system and Margaret Thrasher corrected him by saying "We love our healthcare."

Part of this undoubtedly will legalize marijauna because it is less costly than more expensive alternatives provided by greedy pharmacheutical companies.

General Discussion / Gibson County Fair
« on: May 25, 2013, 06:08:27 AM »
Is Gibson County having a fair this year?

Have heard they are going to go back to just those inflatable children's toys that they had a couple of years ago, as insurance cost is too high.

Sincerely,

Is Gibson County going to have a Fair this year, or just those inflatable toys like they had a couple of years ago?
