A Home for Kendell
« on: August 26, 2013, 02:14:12 PM »
Folks in Princeton are doing a magnificent and charitable act.  They are providing shelter for a homeless man preciously living around the vacant carwash on West Broadway.  See:   http://www.facebook.com/ahomeforkendell

This is in contrast with they way they are treating homeless in Indianapolis.  They are tearing down their tents and the like and arresting some of them.    http://www.indystar.com/article/20130825/NEWS/308250041/Police-make-arrests-city-workers-tear-down-homeless-camp-railroad-bridge

Would anyone want to help out by providing bus transportation from Indianapolis to Princeton for these folks?  A regular one-way adult ticket is $53.  Seniors are only $43.  If there is interest I will look into chartering a bus, possibly at lesser unit costs.

Sincerely,

Mary Harkins
